Raksha Gopal is CBSE Class 12th 2017 Topper scoring 99.6%

Noida girl Raksha Gopal is the new CBSE Class 12th 2017 topper after the results were declared on May 28. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 12 results or Senior Secondary Examination, and it was Raksha Gopal of Amity International School Noida who topped after scoring a fantabulous 99.6 percent of marks. The exam conducted by CBSE between March 9 and April 29 earlier this year announced the results after much delay. Much like the previous years’ toppers, Raksha, the number one ranked student on CBSE Merit List 2017 finds herself become the butt of jokes on the social media. Because scoring an unbelievable 99.6 percent marks in an exam as tough and stressful as the 12th Boards is bound to receive an eye-roll. The Twitterati is continuously is hailing and at the same time poking fun at Raksha Gopal as well as the Indian education system for the crazy amount of marks scored.

Speaking to the media, an excited and rightly overwhelmed Raksha Gopal said, “I still can’t believe the result, my aim was to do well but did not expect to top.” Science student Bhumi Sawant of DAV School in Chandigarh’s Sector 8 is the second topper with 99.4 percent and Commerce students Aditya Jain of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir and Mannat Luthra of Bhavan Vidyalaya in Chandigarh both scored 99.2 percent to become the third and fourth CBSE 12th toppers.

  2. The CBSE 12th Result 2018 has declared on 26th May 2018 on the official website. All students can download their CBSE 12th Toppers List 2018 from the official website.
