HOW TO CHECK ADSENSE EARNING?

 Understand your earnings on adsense

The reports in your AdSense account are intended to give you close estimates of the current activity in your account. However, these reports do not represent your finalized earnings. Many factors can affect the amount that is ultimately paid to you. After your earnings are finalized, they're posted to your "Transactions" page. Where appropriate and possible, any revenue found to be from invalid clicks or impressions is refunded back to the affected advertisers. If your account is disabled for invalid activity, then you won't be able to receive payment and, where appropriate and possible, we'll refund the revenue in the account to affected advertisers.
On the Home page of your account, we show the following information:
Estimated earnings: close estimates of your recent account activity from today, yesterday, this month so far, and last month.
Image result for how to check total balance on adsense
Finalized earnings: this section displays two levels of earnings:
“Current balance", which is the current balance of your earnings that have not yet been paid out. This balance may not reflect the total amount of payment you receive. Google may make adjustments to the amount, including for rounding discrepancies, any invalid activity that needs to be adjusted from your earnings, or other month-end credits as necessary.
“Most recent payment", which will reflect the payment you last received.
We may make adjustments to your estimated or finalized earnings to account for invalid impressions or clicks, which means that we may remove earnings from your payable balance. Invalid activity may be caused by issues with traffic sources or ad implementation. We recommend that you review the beginner’s guide and tips for preventing invalid activity for more information.
We reserve the right to adjust a publisher’s earnings in the case that an advertiser who advertised on their site defaults on payment.
To maintain the integrity of our invalid activity detection system and prevent users from circumventing the system, we aren't able to provide details about how much was adjusted per day or per channel. Please know that we have these invalid activity protections in place to keep our network of AdSense sites a safe and useful environment for advertisers, publishers, and users.

new option of monetization in youtube

YouTube has always been a place for creators around the world to tell their stories, make connections and earn money. We care about users, creators and advertisers and have, for over a decade, strived to balance and align their interests. In the last few months we spent time addressing concerns from advertisers around where their ads are placed. With new controls and guidelines implemented, many creators have seen their earnings return to normal as advertisers resumed their campaigns. As a part of these recent changes, however, some videos were classified as not suitable for all advertisers, limiting the number of ads served on those videos. There was also no ability to directly appeal in Video Manager. Over the next few weeks, we plan to roll out new icons that will give you a more detailed understanding of how each and every video on your channel (or channels) is monetizing as well as the ability to appeal if you think a video is misclassified. We want our systems to get better and better—and every appeal helps:

  •  Indicates videos that can earn money from the broadest set of advertisers and from YouTube Red. No change from today.
  • Indicates videos are still eligible to earn money in YouTube Red, but will have limited or no ads because the video has been classified as either not suitable for all advertisers, or has been fully demonetized because we believe it doesn’t meet our advertising guidelines.
  •  Indicates videos that will receive no revenue from ads or YouTube Red. This might be because of a copyright strikeContent ID claim, or Community Guidelines strike.
  • You can always use our monetization troubleshooter to see what actions you can take on your video. The status of your appeal will now be in blue text below the monetization icon. If your appeal is successful, more ads may be served on your videos.
When this feature is available in your account, you will see a notification in Creator Studio. It’s important to note that the revenue being earned by your video is not changing with this launch. Instead, this update gives you a more detailed understanding of whether your video has been identified as not suitable for all advertisers and provides the chance to appeal in Video Manager. As always, you can also go into YouTube Analytics to see your revenue report for any video.

Remember, if after reviewing the advertiser guidelines, you think your video is suitable for all brands and audiences, you can appeal or get troubleshooting help by following the instructions in our help center. We hope this update helps you better understand how best to create and monetize your content for YouTube's 1.5 billion monthly users.

What is optimization? and ad sizes?

           What is optimization?

Optimisation is the process of modifying your site and ads on your site to improve the quality of your site, traffic on your site and performance of Ad Sense ads. Based on your goals, optimisation can involve ad implementation improvements or changes to your site.

Optimising your Ad Sense ads implementations and site is crucial when it comes to the success of your goals. Through optimisation, you can help grow your Ad Sense revenue, improve usability of your site, get more traffic or accomplish any of your other goals.

Optimisation best practices

Blend, complement, and contrast
Use these techniques to design ad styles that will be successful for your site.
Maximise ad space with multiple ad units
Provided you don't have more ads than content on your pages, you can put multiple ad units on each page of your site.

Most popular ad sizes
Our most optimal sizes are 720x90, 336x280, 160x600, and the 320x100 mobile banner.
Make sure your content flows
The layout of your site is critical and ads play a part in how it’s structured. Think of your users and put ads below the header and in view ability.
Lift the CPC
Showing text and display ads can help boost revenue. If both work for you, opt in your ad units.

Adsense Bid Type

                     *****Bid type*****

CPC bids

CPC bids make up the bulk of impressions on Google AdSense and are what AdWords/AdSense are best known for as this mimics the model used to advertise on Google itself.  With a CPC bid the advertiser only pay for ads that are clicked on.

CPM bids

A CPM bid is the amount that the advertiser will pay for their ad to be shown 1000 times. CPM bids on placements that are above the fold and more likely to be seen will tend to be higher.  CPM buying is the most common in online advertising.  Paying per impression is the most similar model to traditional media where prices are governed by viewers.

Active View CPM

As CPM bids are paid by ads displayed, advertisers are often paying for the display of advertising that is never seen.  Active View is Google’s measurement of which impression are actually viewed. Bids of this type are the price the advertiser will pay for 1,000 viewable impressions. An impression is deemed to be viewable when at least half of the ad is on-screen for at least one second.  If the impression doesn’t meet that criteria then the advertiser doesn’t pay.

Adsense CPC?

Cost-per-click (CPC)

The cost-per-click (CPC) is the amount you earn each time a user clicks on your ad. The CPC for any ad is determined by the advertiser; some advertisers may be willing to pay more per click than others, depending on what they're advertising.

For example

Instead of getting 10 clicks at 0.02$ CPC ( 10 x 0.02$ = 0.2$), try to get 2 clicks at 0.50$ CPC which is 2 x 0.50$ = 1$, much better isn’t it?. So, your CTR is less ( 10 to 2), but final earning is much better ( 0.2$ to 1$) because of good CPC ( 0.02$ to 0.5$). I hope you got my point.

Types Of AdSense Ads

                     Types Of AdSense Ads

AdSense is one of the flexible PPC advertising program offers various ad types and formats for the publishers to blend the ads with the page content and layout. Google AdSense offers ads in the following types:

Display Ads or Image Ads
Display Ads are a typical image banner ads available in various dimensions from the full page leaderboard (728×90) size to a small button (125×125) size. These are rich media ads showing image, Flash or Video ads.

Text Ads
Text Ads are same as display ads with the different that these ads will show text advertisements instead of rich media content. Typically a wide skyscraper (160×600) size ad will be a set of 3 to 4 ads showing each ad in a single unit. If you do not prefer image and rich media content ads then text ads is a good alternative as they can show 3 to 4 ads in a single unit.

Video Ads
Video ads also belong to rich content ads displaying video instead of a static image. Video ads can be of CPC type or CPM type and the advantage of CPM type is that the impression is account for every loading of the first image and not necessarily that the entire video is to be played by the visitor. The below picture shows how to enable rich media content by choosing the ad type of “Text & display ads” for an individual ad unit.

Mobile Ads
If you have a mobile site optimised for any high-end devices like iPhone and Android then you do not need to create separate mobile ad units. Regular display or text ad units will also be displayed in the high-end mobile devices since they have built-in web browsers capable of running JavaScript.

Link Ad Units
Link units are text ads available in vertical as well horizontal form. A vertical link unit (120×90 or 200×90) consists of three links together and a horizontal unit (728×15) consists of 3 to 4 units together in a single ad unit.
