Phulan Devi, an MP from Dakat, was born on 10 August 1963 in Goraha, a small village in Uttar Pradesh. At the age of 11, she got married. Husband and family left alone. After this, there were mass excesses with him many times.
Gangster Sriram and his brother Lala Ram took Phulan forcibly with them. Here too, he was raped.
After all the sexual tortures, Phoolan chose a path of courage and leadership and ended up being a gang leader in her own right and also waited to avenge. Phoolan Devi started as a burglar, but soon transformed into a dacoit. In 1981, Phoolan and her gang returned to the village where she had actually been raped and recognised two men who took part in that gang rape. Phulan was loved by the gang member Vikram Mohalla and later he joined hands with Phoolan to form a separate gang.

After the surrender, he spent eleven years in jail without trial. Phulan adopted Buddhism after the release. In 1996, Phulan won the Lok Sabha election on the Samajwadi Party ticket from Uttar Pradesh. In 1994 Shekhar Kapoor made the film Bandit Queen on the life of Phulan Devi. There was a lot of controversy on this film.
On July 25, 2001, Phoolan Devi was shot dead by 3 masked shooters outside of her Delhi home. She was rushed to a close by hospital but was stated dead.
